Your day by day program
Board the evening ferry from Genoa (times may vary, but this is usually around 20h30). If you arrive in Genoa with time to spare, take the opportunity to visit the city, which is full of hidden and authentic treasures. Overnight on the ferry.
Arriving in the morning in Olbia, take the road to discover the far north of the island. Follow the coast and discover Porto Cervo, Palau and Santa Teresa di Gallura. To reach the seaside it will be necessary to make a few small detours. A trip to the Maddalena islands is a must!
Riding on a beautiful coastal road, you will reach the Castelsardo region, known for its village perched on the top of a rocky hill and the starting point of your magnificent holiday.

After breakfast, it's time to hit the road. Weave your way through charming Sardinian villages. Today's program takes in old churches, beautiful lakes, sea caves and much more. Finish your day's ride near the coast in a charming hotel with swimming pool, 5 minutes from the sea.
Overnight in a 4-star hotel in Tresnuraghes.
Today your ride takes you alongside the beaches to a less touristy and surprisingly wild south.
Discover ghost villages abandoned after the closure of mining activities. The beaches and dunes of the Costa Verde are breathtaking. In the evening, the ride finishes in a small town known for its history.
Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Iglesias.
After breakfast enjoy a free day or ride a beautiful loop to discover the southern tip of Sardinia. Explore the natural park where many species of birds nest, visit a mine, a beautiful underground cave or even some superb beaches.
Return to your hotel in Iglesias.
Today you will ride across the island from one side to the other. Discover many Nuraghic remains as well as beautiful villages and lakes in the interior. Ride through Sardinia's most famous village, known for its murals, and eventually reach one of the island's most popular seaside resorts. You will be staying in the heart of the resort, in a beautiful hotel overlooking the harbour.
Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Cala Gonone.
A well-deserved day off in Cala Gonone. Take the opportunity to discover the Gulf of Orosei, the beaches of which are the jewels of the island's east coast. Many companies offer boat trips to see sites that are inaccessible by motorcycle.
After breakfast, head northwest again and ride alongside several beautiful beaches. Visit Olbia before continuing to the Costa Smeralda region.
Overnight in a 3-star hotel in Arzachena.
For this last day on the island, enjoy the day as you wish. Drive serenely to the Golfo Aranci and Porto Rotondo before reaching Olbia for a final shopping session. Drive to the port in the late afternoon. Overnight crossing on the ferry.
Arrive in Genoa in the morning as your fabulous Sardinian motorcycle adventure comes to an end!
